Governor of California Jerry Brown said climate change has exacerbated droughts in the state.

As of December 8, more than 141,000 acres had burned and 212,000 people had been evacuated.

Mandatory evacuations have been lifted in the unincorporated areas East and North of Santa Paula’s City Limits.
• The unincorporated area East of Santa Paula Creek, North of HWY 126, West of Hall Rd, North to the Las Padres National Forest
• The unincorporated area north of Santa Paula on SR 150 North of Bridge Road to Thomas Aquinas College
